Commentary on Jacob Behmen and the Temple of Wisdom.

This commentary, written by an unidentified critic c. 1688 analyzes points made by Behmen in his writings concerning the Jewish Cabala. The commentator maintained that Behmen was adversely influenced by German rabbis in Behmen's praise of the contemporary version of the Cabala, which the commentator felt was not the same as the ancient Cabala of Moses and the Prophets. The commentary contains a list of specific points from Behmen's work which the critic both refuted and supported. The end of the essay contains a chart concerning the order of the Divine Lights according to the Cabala.
