Sabin family papers, 1766-1890 (bulk 1766-1840).

The collection consists of letters written and received by various Sabin family members, 1828-1890 (bulk 1828-1849); legal documents, 1766-1840, including deeds and leases for property in Thillsingly, Conn., Williamstown, Mass., Otsego, N.Y., and Gorham, N.Y., wills, and estate inventories; and miscellaneous notes and receipts. Also, the appointment of Timothy Sabin as captain of a company in Lt. Col. Francis Henry's regiment of militia, Otsego County, signed by Gov. John Jay, 29 Mar. 1798; and an agreement concerning the grist mill and saw mill flumes in Otsego, 6 Aug. 1812.
