Undergraduate term papers submitted in the History Department's historiography and methodology classes (HIST 401/402, later revised HIST 488/489). Many deal with Eau Claire, Chippewa Valley, and Wisconsin history. Includes spiral bound volumes for 1990, one dealing with studies in "Wisconsin's Native American history" and one with "Wisconsin's African-American history." Papers submitted 2007 and after are archived electronically in MINDS@UW.

The first commencement of the Eau Claire State Normal School was held in June 1917. A single annual commencment ceremony was held in the spring through 1964. 1965 saw the addition of summer and winter commencement ceremonies at Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire.
