Henry Sims Hartzog scrapbook. 1866-1953.

Hartzog began creating this scrapbook in the 1940's. He included material related to his family history in South Carolina particularly events related to the Civil War. His memoirs describe his life and career. There are a number of published works by Hartzog which have been filmed as well as a "Biographical sketch of General Lewis Ayer" and "The Founding and Settlement of Bamberg."
