Letter, 1787 Nov[embe]r 4, Richmond, [Va.] to Geo[rge] Turberville, "Peccatone," [Peckatone] Westmoreland County, [Va.].

Has enclosed a copy of [minutes?] of Federal Convention, and resolutions of Virginia House of Delegates. Discusses the defeat of a bill to repeal the Port Law; debate concerning the printing of paper money; his hopes for relief from present taxation and the fact that the additional duty on tobacco has been removed. He states he will be a candidate for election to the Virginia Convention of 1788.
