Correspondence with Carl Zigrosser, 1918-1932.

Hart Crane contacted Zigrosser in late 1918, eager to place a poem, "To Potapovitch," in The Modern School. In 2 letters from early 1919, Crane praises Zigrosser's work with the magazine, suggests an illustration by Rockwell Kent to accompany the poem, and gives a brief history of the other periodicals that have declined the poem (Liberator, The Pagan, and The Little Review). A letter from 1923 encourages a renewal of their acquaintance.
