Federal Farm Board Series 1924-1931 1930-1931.

In this series, Lever's affiliation with the Federal Farm Board is documented. Lever served as a Field Representative from 1930-1933. This Federal Agency attempted to halt the slump in prices for agriculture products by lending funds to cooperatives and other organizations to purchase commodities and hold them off the market. Correspondence with members of the Farm Board and educators--such as Edgar Markham and Carl Williams of the Board; D.W. Watkins, William Williams Long, and President E.W. Sikes of Clemson College; and J. Phil Campbell of the University of Georgia--is included in this series.
