Correspondence of this Shepherdstown, W. Va., family and related families. Includes letters from Henry E. Unseld, a former suitor of Sarah Ellen (Soong) Billymer, written from New Orleans (1854-1855), describing the city and its social life; his letters in 1858-1859 describe Missouri and Illinois. Several letters written by David Billmyer while he was in the West Virginia legislature are more concerned with his general store and his family than with public issues.
