Correspondence from insurance companies which Berrey served as agent relating to insurance on buildings and livestock. Letters from Henry Marvin Wharton concern the affairs of Luray College and Whosoever Farm orphanage, 1895-1898 and 1900. Letters from William Coleman Bitting refer to his Baptist church in New York City and to politics. There are also papers relating to the "Page Courier," of which Berrey was an editor, concerning advertising policies, and his dispute with his coeditor, Andrew Broaddus. There are also miscellaneous papers and volumes relating to the Philalethian Literary Society of Luray College; Luray Female Institute, and Luray College.
