Frank L. Hereford speeches [manuscript], 1976, 1984-1985.

The collection contains Hereford's speech at the rededication of the Rotunda, 1976, in which he acknowledges honored guests; gifts from Italy and Iran; two witnesses to the 1895 fire; and all those who played a role as researchers, contributors, fundraisers, committee members, architect and builders. In addition theire are speeches and remarks from a welcome to new faculty members, 1983 (as revised 1984); a State Council of Higher Education conference, 1984; replacement hospital groundbreaking, 1984; parents' day and fall convocation, 1984; governor's conference on small business, 1984 (introduction of John Casteen only); New York and Boston campaign kickoffs, 1984; new student convocation, 1984; founder's day, 1985; a Clifton Waller Barrett dinner, 1985; and finals, 1985.
