Correspondence of Francis D. Henry to C.M. Moore, 1938.

This collection contains letters from Francis "Frank" Henry to C.M. "Charley" Moore. There are three letters dated: Feb. 28, 1938; Mar. 2, 1938; Apr. 17, 1938. The letters that Mr. Henry writes seem to be about a request of information about what happened to his father's papers and the verses of the song "The Old Settler" that his father wrote. Mr. Henry also makes reference to the Pioneers Association. Mr. Moore is a friend of Mr. Henry's from the language and tone of the letters.

Judge Francis Henry was born in Illinois on Jan. 27, 1827. By the time he was a young man, he had made his way to the Washington Territory.
