[Letter] 1910 Sep. 19, 1. Harvey Road, Cambridge, [Eng., to] Miss Lowenthal / H. S. Foxwell.

Foxwell writes Esther Lowenthal suggesting she will obtain the literature she wants at Goldsmiths' Library, the University of London. He also comments that he will not be of much use to her since "the older I get" he is less interested in "theory & abstractions." He adds that his comment is not intended to discourage her. Lowenthal was writing her Ph.D. dissertation at the time of this letter (Ph.D., Columbia, 1912) and eventually taught economics at Smith College.
