These oral history tapes and transcripts document the prisoner of war experiences of Harrodsburg members of the 192nd Tank Battalion during World War II, including their participation in the Bataan Death March. The veterans interviewed were William H. Gentry, Joe Riley Anness, Lawrence I. Martin, Cecil R. VanDiver, Earl Fowler, Claude L. Yeast, William Lee Peavler, Grover D. Whittinghill, Edwin W. Rue, Ralph Stine, Charles Reed, Kenneth M. Hourigan, John Elmore Sadler, Marcus A. Lawson, and Maurice "Jack" Wilson.
