Letter, 1918.

This is a note from King George V, expressing gratitude to soldiers of the American Expeditionary Forces for service in World War I. Letter is dated April 1918 and bears the royal seal with a "Windsor Castle" inscription. One copy has been laminated. Another is folded in the original envelope. The latter is inscribed "a message to you from his majesty, King George Vth".
