Robert Joseph Icks manuscript collection, 1944-1965.

This is a collection of unpublished manuscripts about ordnance, tank warfare, tanks, and other vehicles. Included is a translation of a report prepared by the General Staff of the German Army about German tanks in World War I. A manuscript entitled "An Introduction to Armor" includes charts, maps, photographs, and the author's corrections. There is a copy of an intelligence report on Japanese automotive research, development, and production of combat and general purpose vehicles (1946), and a report entitled "Ordnance Proof Manual Automotive Tests" (1944).
