This project is an early attempt to apply computer simulation to a baseball season. "The 1969 National League baseball season was used and it attempts to simulate both the team's standings as well as both the pitcher's and batter's individual records."

In 1970, as a term project for a class in "Bionics and Robots," taught by Professor Henry David Block, Gary Cokins and Pete Watzka wrote a computer program using a programming language that was a blend of COBOL and FORTRAN to simulate all of the games played for each National League team.
