Notebook of law lectures at the University of Virginia [manuscript], 1861-1866

Hubard took notes in the Junior Law Class of John B. Minor. At the end of the volume are notes pertaining to a case Hubard brought before the circuit court of Buckingham County in 1866. Of interest are brief doodles inside the front cover noting the battle of Charleston Harbor April 10th 1861 and asking "Is Genl. Sam Houston a traitor!"
