Dorothy Rhoads papers, 1883-1979.

The collection contains numerous portraits of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rhoads and their daughters Dorothy and Frances. It includes correspondence and newspaper clippings spanning the end of the nineteenth century to the 1970's. Also included are numerous journals, diaries, and financial books written by Dorothy Rhoads. Dorothy was an avid writer throughout her lifetime; the collection includes portions of a filing system she developed while writing short stories, poetry, and a novel. It also contains a small collection of Dr. Sylvanus G. Morley's personal papers and information about Mayan ruins.
