Contains the letters from Inez Brooks (wife of Charles Van Wyck Brooks) to her father- and mother-in-law (though most of them are addressed solely to Eleanor Stimson Brooks), as well as stepmother -in-law. The bulk of them fall between the years 1937-1939, when Charles and Inez were living in France.
