Letter dated 12 July 1800 in Broughton to an unidentified correspondent. Macpherson mentions Napoleon, William Pitt the Younger and John Home (possibly the one whose dates are 1722-1808). He adds that he is enclosing a French copy of his letter to Mr. Pitt (this letter is not included in the Library's collections).
