Life member certificate, [btw. 1834 and 1841].

This Life Member certificate, issued to Miss Nancy Herbert, was signed by three of the four officers of the Society, as well as five directors. The officers included on the certificate are Vice-President Chloe B. Cummings (1798?- ), the wife of Rev. Ebenezer Edson Cummings (1800-1886); Corres. Secretary Mary Clark, and Recording Secretary Martha O. Farrand (1808-1878). The officers include Mrs. P. Watson, Ruth G. Thorndike (1794-1873), Caroline M. Chase, Mary B. Farley, and Louisa W. Wood.
