Consists primarily of the records of the National Economic Council, including reports, publications, position papers, addresses, correspondence, and internal committee files particularly the Educational Advisory Committee which prepared reports on New York school systems and textbooks. Of special interest are the files of the House Select Committee on Lobbying Activities (the Buchanan Committee) which investigated the Council in 1950.
