Correspondence between Homer Croy and William Gerald Chapman of the International Press Bureau. There are 23 letters from Croy to Chapman (originals) and 34 letters from Chapman to Croy (carbon copies); there is also one letter to Chapman from Harry F. Hull. The collection contains one postal card and one telegram. The correspondence concerns Croy's work as a freelance writer contributing pieces to Chapman's syndicate, particularly a humorous series called "Baseball-ographies." Croy was also the editor of a journal called The Magazine Maker, and frequently writes on stationary with its letterhead.
