Consists of 2 folders. Telegram dated 26 June 1869 is to David Wills of Gettysburg; other items are to Horace Howard Furness. Includes three autograph poems by Taylor: "Jenny Lind's Greeting to America" (dated 8 September 1850); "Grüss an Lindenschatten" (in German; enclosed in letter of 21 July 1869); and "Cedarcroft to Lindenshade" (undated). In the letter dated 25 August 1869 Taylor quotes Goethe's poem "Ein Gleiches" (in German).
