Autograph Letter Signed, Kansas City [Missouri], November 23, 1963, written to Jay Slack. Benton writes: "Your caricatures [sic] are fine. I think the one of me is best, maybe that is only because I like my face better than thee faces of those other guys. Keep it up. I don't play the harmonica very much any more because when I hit a high note, my false teeth jump out of my mouth!..." Accompanied by a reproduction of the amusing caricature referred to in Benton's letter [27 x 13 cm.].
