A promissory note in which slaves are used as collateral. Transaction was between a New York Firm and Mr. & Mrs. Felix Bosworth. Names include those of slaves of the Bosworths, Charles, French, Will, Eliza, Maria, and Molly. Charles, John, and Henry Granniss; Edward White; Attorney George C. Goddard; and Louisiana Commissioner Isaac P. Martin.
