The Roberto Burle Marx Collection.

The collection contains research files and correspondence exchanged between Brazilian landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994) and curator William Howard Adams, and the Museum of Modern Art in preparation of the exhibition "Roberto Burle Marx: The Unnatural Art of the Garden" at the Museum in 1991. It also contains clippings and writings by and about Burle Marx, and some 350 slides documenting his work.
