Log of the ship Lady Clarke, 1828-1829.

Log of the British merchant ship Lady Clarke, commanded by James C. Welsh, from London to Norfolk (Va.), St. Thomas (V.I.), Jamaica, and thence back to London. The ship traded at Norfolk and the islands for lumber, shingles, staves and other goods. The log was probably kept by chief officer William Rogers and records crew members deserted and a detailed harbor log.
