TLS, 1927 August 25 : Pointe-au-Pic, Canada, to Ike M. Ullman.

Taft writes as Chief Justice on letterhead of the Supreme Court of the United States. He writes to Ullman, leader of the Republican Party in Connecticut. Taft offers his thoughts about the Sacco-Vanzetti case, saying that the administration of justice would be seen through regardless of threats. He says that the propaganda of the case had been world-wide, and "promoted by ... contributions of people, many of whom are reds, some who are pinks, others who are hysterical and prone to think everything wrong ..." He then discusses presidential politics, discussing Coolidge and Hoover, among others.
