Five legal instruments concerning landholding and stock holding of Thomas Lilley of East Baton Rouge Parish, La.: true copy of a conveyance for the sale of land in East Baton Rouge Parish from the estate of Robert and George Ross to Willis Thornton and Thomas Lilley transacted in 1832 (1835); true copy of a conveyance for the sale of half of this land from Lilley to Joseph Young (1835); appraisers certificate of the land, slaves, livestock, and dwellings of Thomas Lilley by the Citizens' Bank of Louisiana including the names of his seven slaves (1836); stockholder's oath by Thomas Lilley with the Citizens' Bank of Louisiana (1836); and a mortgage for shares of the Citizens' Bank of Louisiana to Thomas Lilley (1837).
