Letters, on Sunnybank Collie Kennels stationery to an old friend, discussing his growing old and impending retirement, and providing stories of dogs, some of which were published in his syndicated column, "Calling all dogs." One letter, 1936 Dec. 22, reminisces about his career writing for the New York Evening World under editors both good (Fred Duneka) and bad (Charles Chapin). He also mentions the Silurians, and journalists Billy Inglis and Martin Green.
