Five sessions exploring Manitoba's archival collections, the fur trade (papers by Orkney Trace and Isabelle Gunn), Manitoba ethnic and social history (on Jewish involvement in sports in Winnipeg, 1910-1940, the resettlement of Japanese Canadians during World War II, the founding of Altona), education (on St. Mary's Academy and the University of Manitoba during WW II), and women's issues (on Beatrice Alice Bridgen, Miss Davis Oakfield's boarding school, and the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union led by Sam Herbst from 1935-1948. One paper submitted, but not presented, dealt with the Beausejour Glass Factory, 1906-1914.
