Interview with Gibson ("Gib") Lewis, a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives from Fort Worth, concerning his experiences and personal views as a member of the Sixty-sixth Legislature. Lewis dicusses his biographical information, his personal political philosophy, Speaker Bill Clayton, his work as chairman of the Intergovernmental Affairs Committee, parimutual betting, local bills, urban annexation, Governors Preston Smith, Dolph Briscoe, and William Clements, as well as interest rates, consumer legislation, tax relief, and the Peveto Bill.
