Patristica [microform], [12--].

Collection of the paterikon type with instructions, homilies, tales from the lives of the church fathers including works by Iōann, Abbot of Sinai, Eusebius of Alexandria, St. Ephraem Syrus. Lengthy marginal inscription on leaf 36b about seven levels of drink and intoxication, probably 14th cent. or earlier, beginning "Digionʹ reche. Egda sȩdetʹ mo̧zhʹ vʹ piru. Chashu ispii︠e︡tʹ ... ". Judging by the language of this inscription, which retains nasalized vowels in etymological positions, the manuscript was probably at one time in the hands of a Bulgarian owner. Leaves 42b and 43a, an inscription in Greek. Scribblings and pen-testing on the inside of the back cover and the last leaf, with signature of a I︠a︡kovʹ (probably not the scribe). Ornamented initials.

1 v. (81 leaves) : parchment ; 20 cm.
