Other papers include photostatic deeds to lands of Hawks and other family members in Deerfield, Mass.; record (1771-97) of work done on public roads in Deerfield; a typescript biography and other miscellaneous notes of Edward Brooks on the life of John Hawks; and correspondence between Brooks and George M. Hawks who, in 1931, possessed the original Hawks orderly book.
