Description: Personal papers of M. James Bensen, Dean of the School of Industry and Technology since 1980. Bensen obtained his doctorate, master's, and bachelor's degrees in industrial education from Pennsylvania State University, Stout and Bemidji State University respectively. Bensen came to Stout in 1966 as professor of the industrial teacher education department. He was director of the B.S. degree program in industrial education before becoming assistant dean in 1977. His papers consist of lecture and teaching materials used for his courses in industrial education as well as materials relating to various projects he was involved with at Stout.
