William Watson papers, 1846-1870 (bulk 1866-1870).

Fee book and statements of fees of William Watson, sheriff of Livingston Parish, La. The fee book includes records of expenses parish residents incurred for writs, paperwork associated with the administration of wills and estates, certificates for the sale of property and other goods, work time and mileage put in while serving notices, and other services provided by the sheriff's office. The statements of fees consist of records of moneys collected and signed statements of parties involved in business deals and sales.
