William Minor Lile letters and speeches [manuscript] 1918, 1929-1930.

The collection contains three letters, 1918, to John A. Lile at the Naval Reserve Training Camp, Seattle, Washington, from his mother and an unidentified correspondent discussing the Armistice celebration in Charlottesville, and conveying news of family and friends. The collection also contains two speeches, 1929 and 1930 given by Lile on the occasions of his 70th and 71st birthdays; and three letters, 1929, concerning LIle's upcoming birthday party.
