Papers of Franklin Haven include bills and receipts, and letters to Haven from painter George P.A. Healy about his portrait of Daniel Webster. A letter from Healy to Webster is also included. A letter from H.H. Richardson urges the hiring of French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi for work on the tower of the new Brattle Street (Fourth) Church in Boston (1871). The collection also contains bills and receipts and scattered correspondence of William Ballard of Framingham, Mass.
