Correspondence, writings, legal and financial papers, clippings, photographs, and other miscellaneous items relating to Miss Bridgers and her family, with the bulk of the material spanning the period 1925-1963. Highlighted is information about the play "Coquette," which she wrote with George Abbott, that was presented on Broadway in 1927 and the Raleigh Little Theater which she was instrumental in founding through the auspices of the Federal Theatre Project of the Work Projects Administration.
