Recorded copy of the will of John Powell, "Gardiner," of East Grinstead, Sussex County, England [now East and West Sussex counties]. Bequeaths £200 to his son, John Powell, "in America," and all other goods to wife, Grace Powell. Written 29 July 1771 and probated 16 November 1771. Names Storer Roudy and George Banlin as executors. Witnessed by Robert Turner, Cha[rle]s Sawyer, and Rich[ar]d Smith.
