Burt, charging him to recover the state guns, muskets, and ammunition, and stating that he does not wish New York to "have anything directly to do with this business"; and 1 Nov. 1850, to Hon. N. K. Hall, postmaster general, declaring that it is impossible to extend the leave of Lieut. Collins. Also, a pass issued at Army headquarters, Washington, 1 Aug. 1861, to Mrs. Eliza D.
