Chrysoboull [microform], [1319 July].

Byzantine Emperor Andronicus II Palaeologus confirms to hieromonk Gerbasios of Hilandar the possession of a territory Choudēna on the river Struma in Macedonia which had previously belonged to Kasandrēnos and then to peasant Lependrēnos. Without statement of month or indiction (the space for its insertion is left empty), but with the Emperor's signature. The absence of chronological clues in the document make its authenticity suspect. However, the existence of an analogous chrysoboull from March 1325 introduces the possibility that this document is copy of the 1325 original, whose scribe could not resolve the imperial fioritures. 37 lines.
