Primarily incoming and outgoing correspondence of Mary Woodbridge Wyllys Gannett of Hartford, Connecticut, including letters from friends, many of whom were formerly pupils at Sarah Pierce's Female Academy in Litchfield, and letters she wrote to her future husband John Mico Gannett. Also includes correspondence to Mary's father Samuel Wyllys and his records from settling his brother John P. Wyllys' estate. Some genealogical material included.
