Chrysoboull [microform], 6826 [1318 Jan.].

Byzantine Emperor Andronicus II Palaeologus, at the request of hieromonk Kallinikos, issues a chrysobullos logos wherein he exempts the property of peasant Manouēl Gorianos from Ēunianē near Ver in Macedonia from all taxes. With statement of month, indiction, year and with the Emperor's signature. The coarse handwriting, defective orthography, presence of abbreviations not commonly used in chrysoboulls, and the Emperor's signature (which differs greatly in form from his other signatures), all bear witness against the authenticity of this document. 30 lines.

1 item : parchment ; 47 x 25 cm.
