John Honnold was born in 1915 and grew up on a farm in central Illinois. He graduated from Harvard Law School and served in the federal administration for the SEC and as the defender for the Price Administration during WWII. After the war, Mr. Honnold became a professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
