Set consists of soil maps for all Iowa counties prepared by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Bureau of Chemistry and Soils in cooperation with the Iowa Agricultural Experiment Station. The original sheet maps issued 1913-1930 have been cut up and mounted in separate booklets by county, with one township per leaf, to be used with a set of land ownership maps prepared by Frank F. Riecken, Agronomy Dept., Iowa State University in order to facilitate land valuation.
