Miscellany [microform], [ca. 1800].

Miscellany consisting of four different manuscripts bound together. Leaves 1a-8a, the Testament (Zavĕt) of St. John of Rila with scribal colophon on leaves 8a-8b explaining the need to copy this work. The scribe relates in great detail on how the text came down to him. It seems that the source of copying of this text was a parchment version from 6893 [1385], copied by a Domentian. The scribe also signs his name, Savatīi. Leaf 9a-23b, texts of St. Meletius, Bp. of Antioch. Leaf 25a-40b. homily of St. Nilus the Elder. Leaf 43a-77b, ascetic homily of St. Maximus the Confessor. The last text comes from the school of Paissy Velitchkovsky. He himself elaborated the translation of this work. The writing of this manuscript is identical to that of manuscript 156 in the Neamt︠s︡ Monastery. Apart from scribal colophon on leaves 8a-8b, no other inscriptions. Without ornamentation.

1 v. (77 leaves) ; 24 cm.
