ArchivalResource

Negatives of Louis Charles Christopher Krieger, 1901-1912 (inclusive).

The Krieger Negatives are glass plate negatives used by L. C. C. Krieger while illustrating the Icones Farlowianae. In some cases the negatives are labeled as to who the photographer was, in other cases the labeling is less clear and may relate to the collector of the specimen rather than the photographer. The negatives are numbered, however, it is unclear whether the numbering is related to a series of negatives, samples or plates in the finished work.
