ALS, 1814 August 30 : West Bloomfield [New York], to Nathan Williams or Thomas Childs, Utica.

General Brown writes Williams or Childs that he is on his way to Buffalo. He fears his militia will be deficient in arms, and asks that the keeper of the arsenal forward sufficient equipment. Brown was in command at the Battle of Niagara during the War of 1812.
